Roads parted with coach Florian Kohlfeldt at Werder Bremen, one of the Bundesliga teams.
In the statement made, it was stated that the club management decided to dismiss Kohlfeldt after a 2-0 defeat against Augsburg in the 33rd week of the Bundesliga and this decision was also approved by the supervisory board.
AGREED WITH SCHAAF
Instead of Florian Kohfeldt, it was noted that an agreement was reached with Thomas Schaaf, one of the team’s former coaches, to take part in the last game of the season and possible play-outs.
Werder Bremen, who will face Borussia Mönchengladbach at home in the last match of the season, is in 16th place with 31 points.
The team that finished the Bundesliga in 16th place will play play-out matches with the team that finished the 2nd League in the third place. Teams that finish the league in the 17th and 18th place are relegated.
